Men, women, and sometimes children, who smile and welcome people to the weekend Masses are called Greeters, and are part of the Hospitality Ministry here at St. Gregory.
To be a greeter is a wonderful opportunity to meet people and to fulfill your parish duty of stewardship by giving 1/2 hour of your time each month for one year. It is a great way to be a disciple - one who welcomes everyone to our parish places of worship. There are no meetings to attend and you may choose whatever Mass you generally attend but you are required to be at the church 1/2 hour before the Mass starts.
